i spent most of april re-watching gregg araki movies. my weekends alternated between going out and pulling all-nighters, and my weekdays were filtered through a dream-like haze. i saw my friends again, i made poor choices, and i found myself wishing i could cry as easily as i used to. i wanted to explode into an unignorable, surreal mess of blood and insectoid limbs like a side character in the doom generation or nowhere. since that was impossible, i decided to just go for a lot of long walks while listening to semi-pretentious indie music on loop instead.
