Is plagiarizing yourself still plagiarism?

Inspiration,

Something lost on me

Inspired,

Something I wish to be

Lazily, my words strewn out

Spewed out from a mouth once so

Eloquent!

That word is quite familiar.

Familiar to the

Crickets

Those chirping in the back whilst I wait for recognition.

That word I like

To use..

 Utter

Again, lazy

Such as this

Stanzas shrink in size,

I separate

Select

Emphasize

So it appears what I write

Is

More

Appealing

To those...

Same crickets chirping

In the back

Repetitive

Repertoire!

Oh dear

Again a word, but this one more recent,

Does my audience remember

Do

You

Remember

Are these words

Better

Should I

Emphasize?

..

Did the spacing help

Did it make me seem

Literate

Is

My comprehension

Correct

Do I

Understand how to

Grab attention

Inspiration,

Something lost on me.

Inspired,

Something I wish to be

Lazily, my words strewn out

Spewed out from a mouth once so

Articulate

Did you notice

I used a different word

Did you notice

I copied all but that word

Did you notice

Did you notice?

That usually, I only add punctuation when sentences are italicized

Quite lengthy this piece had gotten,

I wonder if I'll have a different variety of pests

Joining us

This time

This

Poem

Less crickets?

Or maybe more

Did you pause when I did

Or did you keep a steady beat

Sometimes for me, it's hard to read

Hard to see

And feel

Did you notice

I broke the rhythm

Did you notice,

How I've seemed to grow obvious with my

Quips

?

(I've noticed this poem reflects one I've read. One that is not mine. So, perhaps this is plagiarism of another. Not myself. How ironic)

Did you notice

That

That

Was

Apart

Of

The

Poem

?

I use two parentheses

Did you remember?

Did

The crickets

The crickets, oh the crickets

The joke is over

I've used that line

Many, many, many a times

Have you grown bored

Did you skip to the end

Did you wish for something similar to

The beginning?

I did

Isn't that fascinating

Fearsomely beautiful

That

My own work

Is not something I adore

Based off of no muse other than I, and my selfish, lazy, repetitive

Words

((You made it to the end. Truth!! I'm using two parentheses, see? I am unsure how I feel about this piece. It is basically my mind. As words on a screen. I couldn't think of words for a poem I'm writing with an insanely cool title so I, instead, started this nonsenss. I hope you read it all. Didn't get bored. It's one of my longer pieces.))

Great poetry!!
To answer the title question literally, yes. except for when it isnt.

This is mostly relevant in a educational setting. The main example of this goes as such; let’s say you write an essay for fun on a topic you care about. After this, you are assigned an essay on said topic. You cannot submit the previously made essay, as it is considered plagiarism. This applies to all assignments if that makes sense. It really sucks!

Haha, you explained it well. Fear not, the title was simply rhetorical. Why I chose it is because I use similar words I have before, repeating them, abusing them.. etc. i couldn't right tonight, so I figured why not right about that! But wait a sec.. I've done that before too!! So, that's what it's about. I think sorta.. im bad at explaining sowwi. But I'm glad you enjoyed the piece!! I do know it was.. quite lengthy..
