Fibers
Fibers can be classified into 4 types
- Plant
- Animal
- Regenerated
- Synthetic
Fibers are chosen for their specific properties, and can be used alone or combined depending on the desired properties.
Blended Fibers
Fiber blends and mixed yarns are made by combining 2 or more textile fibers. When blended or mixed, these fibers can modify or change the properties, as well as the appearance, of fiber, yarn, or fabric. They utilize the characteristics of each kind of fiber and are used to help meet specific industry requirements.

- To improve the ease of handling a fabric to be sewn, or to retain its shape
- To improve the profitability of fabric, making it cheaper to produce
