A morte é triste?

As much as death has this morbid content attributed to her, it does not always need to be looked at with these lenses, sometimes I went to a cemetery with my friend of mine, who here I will name Francis not to reveal his name, and there I felt a different aura, to be in a place with all those tombs and to know that under that land there were people who were alive one day, had family, dreams, desires, ambitions, fears, doubts, insecurities, qualities and defects reminded me how finite and fragile i am as a human being, made me realize that i have lived so many years facing sadness as a single source of life, the only source of me being what i am and that without it i would be a nothing like a musician where musical theory does not exist, but these moments also made me realize how beautiful life is precisely because it is finite, because it ends, because our time is limited. Really, we want to live more, we want people who are with us and who do us well to live for a long and long time, but we are so stuck to the routine and so surrounded by life that we forget death and the weight and message that it carries.
Is death sad? Yes, there is no doubt, but it can also be a gateway to happiness from the moment you understand that your time is finite, you start enjoying every second as if it were the last because there will come a moment that will really be the last.
