I should've spent more time navigating this site. So I'm slowly coming back here. Going through people's profiles and blogs! Which I really enjoy reading. I just feel like I need a break from the algorithm. These days have felt like being at a buffet but you're being served the same thing. Over and over, no ending in sight. Yesterday and today, I liked one post and then my social media was just that one subject. I got overwhelmed so fast. I had to log off.
I don't know if anyone on here feels the same way. Maybe no one will read this. But I just needed to place my thoughts somewhere. Where it doesn't feel like you're being pushed into a room with hundreds of people.
I like the quiet and I wish social media went back to feeling personal. Not this monster that's always being fed.

I am grateful that this generation and I are also finding alternatives like spacehey since social networks unfortunately no longer serve as they were before and are unfortunately becoming a rotten place without a soul and I think that is why many are moving networks because of that (and even I did it)
We crave community now more than ever. So sites like these are going to be very important. If only given the chance.

yes, I'm glad you realize it, but I've always thought (or at least it's my theory) that the internet from before was destroyed (or rendered useless) so we would have to settle for the networks but at least that is changing and people are deleting the networks and looking for alternatives which is a good thing but we should promote it more (´ ᵕ `˶) (and not just Spacehey) sorry if there are translation problems I am using a translator since I don't I speak English (ദ്ദി ̇ᗜ ̇)

You're correct! The socials are now just for businesses and it's more about ads than anything else. Everyone is selling you something.
It's okay that you're using a translator! What's your main language? :o

My language is Spanish, and I know very little English, so I use a translator to reply to some blogs in English. The internet dead theory further reinforces my theory, but I would call it more of a dead network. It's something that only happens with networks like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, etc.
Meanwhile, older websites are resurfacing (examples of this are SpaceHey, Tumblr, FriendRewind, Gromble, etc.). The only networks I have are Instagram and YouTube. But if I could change it, I would without hesitation. I also have Tumblr and FriendRewind because even I got tired of them.

Puedes hablar en español si quieres! Esa es mi lengua primaria tambien.
Youtube, Twitter (no lo voy a llamar por el otro nombre) y instagram son las redes que más uso.

Si yo también las uso (menos Twitter)pero no tanto ya que ahora estoy más en Tumblr y spacehey lo cual me pone feliz estos sitios realmente son interesantes y los amo bastante me gusta estar aqui es como mi lugar feliz y almenos no me siento tan abrumada como en las redes sociales

DECORACIÓN me gusta la decoración de perfil (cosas que lamentablemente no puedo hacer en redes sociales
LOS BLOGS desde comentar en otros blogs hasta hacer los míos tengo tres blogs y la gente le a encantado mucho (≧∇≦)
(mi primer blog es una lista de sitios web y a la gente la ayudo bastante)
LOS FOROS aunque no me gusta hacer amigos me encanta ayudar a la gente con lo que pueda y hablar y dar mi opinión sobre temas interesantes que hay en esta sitios
LA NOSTALGIA TAMBIÉN porque quiero volver como era antes (también quiero volver cuando era rara o cringe en Internet)
y quiero que Internet vuelva hacer interesantes como era antes
ya que me estoy hartando de las redes sociales y la gente almenos esta cambiando eso y yo también quiero dar mi granito de arena
