Exceptional Citizens Week 2026 Expectations (several earths)

Saturday, Jul 11th

• After rest period we kick off Cabin Activities. These are cabin challenges which require cabins to stick together for challenge activities throughout the week. Meeting the challenge in a cabin challenge brings points to a cabin and individuals. Think Harry Potter and assigned points. Each cabin will get a binder that holds sheets to document completed challenges. At the end of the week additional points will be awarded so every cabin wins. Executive Director, Daniel McLaughlin, will award these points at the Saturday night dinner. The 1st challenge will involve roll call as a cabin and taking a cabin picture for more points.
  
• In the afternoon we are expecting a Kiss-inspired band composed of preteens and teenagers.
• That evening there is a Silent Disco for campers.
• SHHH is Trivia Night.

Sunday, Jul 12th

Sunday is team color day. Each cabin is assigned a color.

• Special Program's Rockin' with Judy Jetson show begins that night!
• SHHH is Hanna-Barbera themed Jeopardy.

Monday, Jul 13th

Monday is Rainbow Day.

• Love in Action will be celebrated in the morning.
• After Love in Action, we will have a parade that will lead us to the basketball courts for a luau dance party complete with lei and a special guest. Water sprinklers will be employed.
• SHHH is Irish Night.

Tuesday, Jul 14th

Tuesday is USA Day.

• Starting at 10am is the annual camper vs. waiter hockey game.
• After rest period, we will enjoy an ice cream and smoothie social with some sports mascots. It's a big day for sports at EC Week!
• SHHH is A Night at the Races. Volunteers will be selected to wear colors and drive flying cars. They will move as dictated by a roll of giant dice. There will be betting.

Wednesday, Jul 15th

Wednesday is Funny Hat Day and we get to sleep late.

• 11am is the annual foam party.
• After Love in Action, we are hopeful that Princess Denise will join us for a sing-along.
• That evening we will enjoy the Rockin' with Judy Jetson finale and a dance party to celebrate.
• SHHH is 3 rounds of Candy Land.

Thursday, Jul 16th

Thursday is Pajama Day.

• After rest period is Hide and Seek with Judy Jetson.
• After dinner brings EC Week Cinemas's special presentation of Jetsons: The Movie.
• SHHH is a game of Monopoly.

Friday, Jul 17th

• After rest period is Touch A Truck with a motorcycle rally and corvettes.
• After dinner we will be singing with Big Bird, Elmo, and the rest of our Sesame Street friends in Sesame Street: Kids' Favorite Songs.
• SHHH is the "Whatcha Got" Volunteer Talent Show.

Saturday, Jul 18th

• That morning, all activities are open.
• At 11am head over to the Girls' Cabins for the Dick Sexton Happy Hour where everyone is invited to share treats they did not finish during the week, dance and sing, as guests of Dick Sexton.
• After rest period brings the Camper Talent Show.
• Dinner will be a little longer as we recognize the waiters and others who make camp possible. Points will be awarded to cabins for their completed challenges.
• After dinner, we will celebrate The Epic Elementary School Sing-Along's 10th anniversary and have the ultimate sing-along party with Ms. Kaitlin and Mr. Michael in The Epic Elementary School Sing-Along: The Ultimate Sing-Along Celebration.
• SHHH is Nostalgic Cartoon Bingo with swag for prizes.

Sunday, Jul 19th

Next Sunday is to clean and pack.

• Parents will be strongly encouraged to pick up their camper by 9am and no later than noon.
• Volunteers are expected to stay until dismissed. We want to leave Camp Fatima cleaner than we found it.
• All volunteer staff must remain on property until noon to clean their quarters and to allow campers to exit unencumbered.

We will celebrate Love in Action every day except for Sunday and the following Saturday. On Monday, we celebrate Love in Action in the morning. Janice Audy would love to have campers and counselors join her in her music ministry.

SHHH (Social Hungry Happy Hour) is for volunteers, after the campers are in bed and the evening learning service has ended. It includes a real talent show, board games, and Bingo of any category. Expect to hear Volunteer Goodnights to send us off to bed. Last call is at 11:30pm and bedtime for all is 1am every night.
