To start this off with, Kyu is a BSD fan >< So this will be influenced by it. I'll divide this into two section, anime and other (￣ヘ￣)

Anime

To start off with, I have not finished the anime. But that doesn't mean it is free from my complains.
Imma start with complaining how Harukawa and her art is not respected by Studio Bones.

It itself is obvious, for example studio bones leaving out what she did with the eyes. But the art style itself isnt respected which I think we can all agree with if we've read the manga and watched the anime. But another example is changing panelling, which isnt an issue of itself but it removes the importance of a lot of scenes that Harukawa drew specifically for that (╥﹏╥)

But then the anime also has issues with following the plot (sigh), which I do like that they take creative ideas. I do support that (but adding Atsushi into Dazais entrance arc for example...)

And ending this section with our MC! Atsushi, oh Atsushi. This is just a very short note about what bones did to him, which is about his PTSD. they completely changed how he experiences it in the anime, and changes it to a single scene (which is not how Atsushi himself experiences it. i am no professional which is why ill end it at this)

Other

Now, the anime contributes to this. But I hate how a large chunk of the fandom cant comprehend the anti war message in bsd (ノ_<、)
Thats partly because of the anime though, unfortunately. As it leaves out a lot of it and due to its weird changes it has.

But the fandom is really weird in general, I dont care about cringe and such, but I see a lot of ableism and just gross comments in the fandom. I might be overreacting as i myself am disabled but blehhh, not fun.
