New interest or just fixation?

Lately I was bored and watched a few movies that 2-D from Gorillaz mentioned in interviews. Honestly? Pretty fun. But question is do I actually like 70s zombie movies or is it just cuz of my fixation on Gorillaz at the moment? :///
