Actually looking around this 4th of July is terrifying. Under this weird America delusion. But at any parade or any family function there is the guy drunk out his mind because he's so unhappy with his job and homelife under the "American dream" but he's screaming and shouting for the sake of America. What its founded on or standed on blah blah blah. But again its all deluded it seems like to me. Or you see the mom who cant get an ounce of relaxation this holiday because she's is the responsible one taking care of everyone, also coming from the "American Dream". I see friends take care of there waisted male partners. They drink and drive, shoot and scream, break shit lose shit. And she will get the call from her parents rather than the waisted brother, because she is older and a girl in a oppressed household under the American Dream. I look at the people around me even. And I don't even mean to exclude myself, but it always feel like there's a difference. Its not because they are in American shorts and I'm int the studded belt, its the fundamental values that we both hold. But we sit in the same room, we do the same things, we all tolerate each other. But for the sake of what. For me to go to this parade with ambulances, for me to go the the pool with my friend's family? It drives me crazy! The only reason why I am there is because of the people I value. but even then we all have very different ways of spending the 4th, but i can semi tolerate the annoying bullshit all day all for the sake of a talk with friends. cause all i want is to freaking light a firework with the friends I care about. Fuck the emo losers from high school that end up being there. All I want is my freaking buddies to laugh at fireworks.
The 4th of July is weird man
