Soul eater!!! And its ending...ig

finally watched Soul Eater

I've wanted to watch it way before but never had time 

I haven't read the manga yet so I'm only talking about the anime I already know the manga and anime are pretty different including in the ending but for now I'm judging it as it is

The biggest problem for me is the ending because I genuinely don't think it makes any fucking sense

The whole "bravery punch" feels so random because if bravery was all it took to defeat the Kishin then Black☆Star, Death the Kid or even Lord Death should've beaten him a long time ago They're literally brave too tf arguably even more than Maka in that situation so why does Maka suddenly win with one punch? She doesn't even use Soul as a weapon or anything she just... punches him and that's it 🤯It feels like the writers just wanted the fight to end and picked the quickest way possible not even mentioning how suddenly she became a weapon n then everyone glossed over it lmao I really wish the ending was more logical because either have all three of them beat the Kishin together or at least give Maka a believable reason to be the one who finishes him WHILE USING SOUL ATLEAST 

I like how the characters were written at first I found Black☆Star annoying abit but the more I watched him the more he grew on me I also think his massive ego actually makes sense since he worked his ass off for his strength so his confidence feels earned instead of just being there for no reason yk he deserves the attention he seeks and that's why he ended up becoming one of my favorite characters , same for Blaire Maka isn't really my favorite and that's just my opinion I still like her tho its ju that the serious book worms type of characters aren't my cup of tea but almost everyone else was memorable anyway 

The fan service didnt bother me I couldn't care less it disappeared after the few first few episodes anyway 

the openings and endings kept showing some scenes that happened straight up never happened Like Maka fighting the Kishin WITH SOUL  instead of just hitting him with the fucking bravery punch. There were a bunch of moments that made me think "oh shit so that's what's gonna happen later " Which is why I'm kinda disappointed at the ending I had different expectations I guess it makes sense though they can't just spoil everything lol
