Good grief I was in a mood during the last entry. It reads like a manifesto, though I promise you're safe around me. You can be alone with me. haha geulp.
Anyways,
Some things that remain true within that previous entry, is that everyday has felt the same. The sky remains a dark grey, shaking the walls with storm. Just yesterday, while cooking dinner for me and my family, I noticed the sky going from a dull, dark blue to a vibrant orange. What came with this impenetrable dark, dull orange, would be the powerful sounds of thunder. Lashes of lightning stormed across the skies in just a few moments, with the trees soon being turned almost horizontal. All devices in the area went off, blaring a tornado sighting. Recently our nation has been engulfed with a series of storms and fires.
For the past few days I've spent time under the sun, shirt and hair soaking with sweat. In these hours, I would spend time painting, careful and calm. It's been something that has always been enjoyable to me. With how devastated I've felt recently over what I've experienced in 2026, it's been something that helps to cheer me up. It has gotten a bit odd, frankly. My deep rooted interest in horror has clashed with painting and I am now left with several canvases of some grotesque art. I've also been reminded of the mounds of clay within my possession. Looking forward to doing some nonsense with that.
This joy and calming has helped me focus. I have washed all my clothes and sheets, deep cleaned my room and bathroom. I'm just now hearing my father reversing into the driveway, oh god help me what has he brought home. Anyways, there's been bleach of the walls, soap in the carpet and plenty of chemicals filtered through my lungs. My room smells like fruit and pine, it's awesome. I've changed up the decor of my room a bit too. I recently got a 4 pointer deer skull, pretty nice, and about 50 more records. I've put 8 record sleeves up on my wall, adjacent to my window. It's pretty and crisp.
My brother is being deployed to a dangerous country, my other brother is bringing home 10 of his college friends, my father is storming around and my mother is harassing UPS. Things are changing, big things are coming up. Apparently I'm getting brother ones' car. Happy to drive, though a deer died and was left decaying on the hood of his car for weeks. That rotting flesh, swarmed with maggots and diseases rested on the vents. The car has now been swamped with the revolting stench of turning flesh, cigarette smoke and salt water. Put a wet hot sock in a dark place outside for a few months and then lick it. That's how his vehicle smells.
But in good news, I now have a project car to work on. So excited !
Question, what is the fastest you've ever moved in a vehicle?
I've gone 150 miles per hour. Pretty nice.
