CODE VERONICA // more of a remake rant

suuuper excited for the new remake, they've been quite loyal to the originals in the remakes - though, some characters can be interpreted different depending on which games you play.

I usually combine their personalities when thinking of the characters as a whole. For example, Leon's original character in resident evil 4 (2005) seemed a bit more dramatic/sarcastic in certain situations, as the new leon is a lesser version of that. I will say, i think the remake conveys a darker side that shows the long effect of his struggles from the Raccoon City incident.

I'm really interested in how they're going to translate certain characters like Steve or Alfred. I hope they keep some of Steve's original personality. Claire and him together were a bit of a comedic relief (besides Alfred's laugh) that i enjoyed while playing. I can't wait to see how they'll re-create those moments between them
