Crushes suck

I've been kinda talking with a guy on a server and after a while it hit me that I have a crush on him. At first it was purely based on personality and how he interacted with us in the server but I stumbled upon an actual photo of him AND HE'S GORGEOUS?? Genuinely crashing out rn. I found his Instagram but it's private and I sent a request WHICH I IMMEDIATELY REGRETTED 💀💀 because I thought that it was too much even though I didn't persist or anything. Despite everything I don't want to like him.. he's from another country and I feel like a moron for having a crush on him. I can't stop thinking about him though.. just him liking one of my texts literally brightens my mood.. What should I do..?
