I haven't really been active here but I'm back. This week it's been sooooo calm tbh. All I've done is go to the doctor's office (I got pricked like 20 times 💀. I am okay tho) and go to the gym.
I've decided that along bulletins I'll also be posting some Blogs since I love this long-form content and it's been helping me practice my English writing for my C2 exam. I would really love to receive some feedback from you!!! (But be nice, please🧍♀️)
Lately I've been really into the Appalachian Trail mountain histories and, although I'm a pretty skeptical and rational person, I really like all that jazz since I can't truly understand it and I love mysteries.
ALSOOO, guess who is probably going to start doing aikido??? meeeeee. I really want to start some form of self defense, I know some boxing but not enough for it to count as self defense. My miar objective is to learn to fight like The Black widow because she is such a badass and I love her.
I have another concert tomorrow and this time I do know how to wearrrr. Any fashion people here have some recommendations for a ethical-ish jean brand? I want to buy some baggy barrel-like jeans but I don't want to buy fast fashion since it doesn't follow my moral alignment in any way tbh. I want to buy in Vinted but I fear to get scammed 🧍♀️. In Spain there aren't really places like Goodwill (at least where I live), there are thrifting and vintage stores (kinda) but they overprice their stuff most times. So, any advice?
Following the vented topic, I've been looking forward to buy a Raspberry Pi as the "motherboard"(idk if it's called in English) and since I'M BROKE I've been looking to buy it on Vinted. Is this a good idea or not? The main purpose of it will me developing my cyberdeck and buying it second hand really follows the purpose of the cyerdeck overall but I, again, don't want to get scammed.
Any advice for my cyberdeck?
Have you guys seen the A24 news? I f*cking hate AI slop and that such a human thing such as cinema is being takeover by numbers. Don't get me wrong, I love tech development and the benefits it can bring us but I believe AI takes much and gives back so little, that's my POV and if you think differently, you do you. I loved (emphasis on the -ed) A24 as a film studio because it made "weird" movies that gave me a sense of "home" since I, myself, have always been considere by others as a "weird girl". And now all the beauty is ruined, in a way, by AI.
R.I.P. A24, we hardly understood you but we'll miss you.

Vinted is usually safe, I've never had any problem but I mostly use it for DVDs, not clothes. As for the raspberry pi, if you end up buying a new one, you can try to search for it in a Portuguese store, might be cheaper. I buy a lot of stuff from Spain, maybe Portuguese stores send stuff to Spain as well idk.
Also, the English seemed spotless but it's not my mother tongue so I might not be the right one to give you feedback.
I really want to buy some DVD's on Vinted too since I like some bands that don't really produce that much of them or I just don't really want to pay full price for them.
I'll look into the Portuguese stores but it may end up being the same price for the shipping.
