tips for song writing?

so i recently started a band with my bestfriend, but i honestly dont know how to write songs. Music has been such a big passion for me over the past like 3 years and its the only thing i see myself doing, and it sucks to feel so stuck and lost, so if anyone has any advice on how to write songs id really appreciate it
