the steam machine vs. getting my car tires aligned

remembering my previous blog entry about how the price is what will either kill or win the steam machine..

yeah $1,049.00-$1,428.00 is def out of my price range to spend on recreational purchases. and i had originally planned to spend that money on a pc if i didn't end up liking the steam machine once it was out but my car tires are on their last trek bruh

not only that but paying $1k for a mini pc that may have difficulty running newer and upcoming games is a bit of a let down for me, of course it is a small, portable pc & i can't ask the same out of a pc that can fit in my hands vs a console but as someone who is looking forward to newer AAA games that may prove difficult for the steam machine to run and not to mention the fps.. i can't make the purchase of the steam machine possible.

what it can do is amazing for how small it is and all the features of being able to customize it like a pc and swap some parts out but 

i honestly can't hold a grudge against valve for this one, the prices for ram and other pc components affected by AI and greedy companies have made it difficult enough.

im a little sad as a lot of people had been looking forward to it, and not to mention the price is almost the same amount i got quoted to get my car tires aligned $1,094. (yes i've been holding out this long on making my car an appointment bc i knew the gabecube could drop any moment)

i still think it's a great and innovative product valve has created but like i saw someone mention; "yesterday's product with tomorrow's prices"
