Can scenecore be part of the scene?

I've been thinking about this a lot lately, after seeing a small debate on another social network.

As I understand it, "scenecore" is a branch of the scene, its revival in the 2020s. And I've seen that many people don't like to accept that it even belongs to the scene because it's "exaggerated" or because it can easily be confused with "glitchcore" and current "ravecore."

Although my question isn't about whether we can consider them scene because of the clothing; people can be scene without always needing to be well-groomed! (although it's still quite important), so that's where my question lies.

Like other subcultures of the time, the scene is supposedly based on the music; the clothing comes later with "fashioncore." But as such, like the emo subculture, the core of the scene is the music (which, regardless of whether it encompasses various musical genres, like scene kid/queen/king (whatever), you're supposed to listen to at least one of them). And the fact that the scene revival (that is, scenecore) is a branch that is NOT based on music, that DOES NOT follow the principles of fashioncore, and that even less emphasizes hair (which is literally the most important thing), leaves me quite puzzled as to whether it can really be considered a branch of the scene or a separate subculture...(?)

Yeps, the supposedly "scenecore" music is TikTok """"""""alternative"""""""" music (it's literally the same 3 songs and two of them are a remix of "Pretty Rave Girl") >:p
