Entry 6/21/26: Went Out!

We went out today!! We had a tree planting event and celebrated fathers day near a river!!! The tree planting was soo fun, mainly cause I got to help the environment a little and cause I'm not as scared of bugs anymore or nature in particular (I have to thank my mom and the alveus sanctuary for helping me get over my fear) (still hate cockroaches though). The heat was rough, but I still wore a jacket since the sun was freaking BLAZING and I didn't have sunscreen.

The river trip though oh lord. NEVER going back to the place we went because it was so hidden. We had to walk down steep stairs (not concrete stairs mind you) that weren't even so it was hard for us to get down without almost slipping. Going down was slow but fairly easy, but GOING UP. Holy FUCK. I'm not very athletic, so my heart was racing and I was sweating so much. My knees, oh lord my knees. Got the right decision to wear combat boots instead of heeled boots. We were going to a farm so I was thinking I should wear my boots. Thank you hindsight.

Anyway, never going back again. The river was fun, I didn't swim or even lay a bare foot in, but the water was nice. And the entire place was covered in foliage (is that an oxymoron atp idk anymore) so it wasn't hot. It was still humid so that sucked, but the place was REALLY nice. Giving me inspo to make a minecraft build.
