A Neighborhood That Will Never Be The Same

Not long ago around two years ago my friend group in my neighborhood was amazing My neighborhood is surrounded by nature with beautiful views and forests and we had so much fun there We were four people two boys including me and two girls The four of us were dating each other During the summers we spent great mornings together walked around in the evenings made edits went to the amusement park played games and drew pictures We were all very interested in drawing and editing and we watched anime

We were not the only kids in the neighborhood Other boys used to come to our field to play football We got along well with them but I was especially close to them They were also very good friends of mine We played football together explored the forest and compared our football card collections

But then things changed The male friend I mentioned and his girlfriend broke up After that the four of us stopped hanging out together I only spent time with that friend after that To be honest those days were still good We would go down to the city center and spend time there and in the evenings we explored the forests around our neighborhood which is far from the city center

Then another thing happened I broke up with my girlfriend too and she betrayed our years of friendship and turned me against that friend I was left alone I had just started high school that year but I did not have a single friend left in my neighborhood I was very sad I had lost both my girlfriend and my friends

Nine months later I received a message from that close friend He wanted to make peace with me I accepted and we met again During the summer vacation we had an amazing time We discovered an abandoned laboratory in our neighborhood On its roof we found a wall we could lean against We brought a mattress pillow and blanket there and made it comfortable We did not forget to lock the building door

The laboratory had a beautiful view of the mountains and we loved sitting on the roof and looking at the landscape for hours

That place became our place We ate there rested there and even slept there Sometimes we spent entire days there talking about life and watching the sky

But then that friend moved away The boys who used to come to the field stopped coming too The neighborhood is no longer the same It is very boring now I miss the old days so much Those beautiful days that I did not fully appreciate while I had them
