Instagram is the worst social media, change my mind

Sooooo, y'all know how we group people based on their preffered social media, right? Incels go on reddit, femcels go on 4chan, average people go on youtube, divorced moms and dads go on facebook, sexy swaggy cute girls go on pinterest, oversensitive 12-year-old-mindset people go on twitter, and us homoemos come here. 

What about instagram?

Since I can remember, instagram never had a strict stereotype tied to it; kinda like facebook messenger or whatsapp - everyone uses it for posting pics of themselves and chatting with friends.

However, ever since mid-25 I noticed that it's one big ragebait app. Literally. Suddenly, not a single person has a logical thought, and if they do it has 5 likes max and is shown to you by accident. Mfs are ganging up on sending death threats for shi like "the way you breathe is actually so rooted in mysogyny and internalized homophobia", and like, not a COUPLE elements that do that, NO, each comment with what I like to call unemployed poetry like so has at least a THOUSAND likes, like, EACH one.

Everyone is actually just so...seeping of hate. If you disagree with someone in 0.01%, that means they're the worst person ever, they probably support m*ga, want you dead, kicked six puppies, and they're also a racist homophobic transphobic mysogynist. Why? Well, they disagree with you, of course!

It feels like the depths of 2020 twitter all over again...

Besides the unemployed poetry, they all also seem to suffer from AI-knowledge syndrome. Like, in just this week, I had people SWEAR on their lives (and hundreds of likers too obv) that 1, emo was based on punk and it revolves around disagreeing with billionaires (context for slowpokes: the emo we have right now and ever since the 2000s' was formed as a revolt to the "gangsta" lifestyle that was so popular back then; an opposition to roughness, abusing substances, and hating each other in the form of free emotional expression, peace, love, respect, and not taking drugs, or drinking), 2. that FOB and Taytay actually never liked each other (???????????????????????????????), 3. that the H*locaust didn't happen, at least not for my great-great grandparents (polish people).

It's as if googling something became illegal on instagram right now; as if saying "oh mb" meant getting publicly executed.

I feel like a ton of incels have flooded IG, taking up the place of people who quit it because of the may 8th change. Terms like "foid" and "chud" becoming mainstream slang are one of the best proofs of that. I had a couple of people recognize marsey the cat from my instagram stickers, they be like "thatsd the wpd cat?!!?/11/1/1/11?!?!1/1/" and i'm like ?????????????? since when do mainstream people know shi like wpd, like, that was a hyper inside joke between me and my friends for like 2 years, because only we was ahh enough to recognize it. 

I can't remember the last time I turned on the reels page and felt okay, moreso happy. I geniuely hate going on IG, I do it only for my friends. What's the fun in scrolling if it's just ragebait after ragebait?????

Instagram users nowadays are very specific people; they think like 2020 twitter people, act like 4chan people, and speak like people on the dark web. Though, they HATE taking consequences for their actions. If you ask any of the 3 mentioned before why they wished someone death or why they accused them of being xyzcist for no reason other than not liking them, they'd be like "for fun hehe", "because they deserve it", "because they're stupid and i'm teaching them a lesson?" But Instagram people?

- Why did you and 2137 other people wished death to this person?

- Uhm, like, there's like, a war going on, we have bigger problems than you being hurt!!!!

- What do wars have to do with telling people to kill themselves? What's the explanation for that?

I can't stand it, personally. I never thought I'd say it, but it seems like Twitter is more rational than IG nowadays.
