my opinion on tracing art

the only acceptable reason to EVER trace someones art is if your using the pose as a base or learning shapes to use for what parts of the body. aswell as if your a beginner getting ideas from bits of peoples art and adapting it into your style (ex: way you draw eyes, hands, noses, mouths, ears and those bits) but it is never acceptable to purely trace someones art and claim it as your own. even if your friend asked you to trace over thiers (for what ever reason) you should still credit your friend if you choose to post.
