Why do people have ZERO media literacy

I usually don't go on tik tok but the one time i do i see so many people just straight dissing the backrooms movie... Like yea it might be boring for some people since it was slow pace but i saw people saying how it wasn't like the Roblox games??? like WHAT? There's no way these people are actually real. Then people are trend hopping just to hate on the backrooms movie, and comparing it to Obsession.. Like guys we do know yandere girls have been a thing before and backrooms is a way more philosophical concept that you might have to look at explanations for if you didn't understand it after the movie. I personally think the Backrooms movie was great and i'm so glad there is finally a creepy pasta type of movie that actually did really well.
