Honestly, I check a blog every minute, so it's true that it's less active than other well-known sites... But that's also because there's a lack of initiative to interact with other blogs and not always rely on comments on your own blogs. I believe that the more you interact with other blogs, even if they're not about topics you particularly love or are interested in, the more you give the rest a boost, more motivation to keep chatting, and believe it or not, you can change someone's life just by interacting directly with them.
