i've been always in love with music and the idea of singing on stage and having my own band and stuff, its just soo cool, i never actually considered it seriously though, but somehow these days, the only thing i've been thinking about is starting a band, i already thought about what am gonna name it, and the first album which is a concept album, so like there is a story behind it. but here is the funny part : i can't play any instruments (not really bad though) and I DONT HAVE ANY FRIENDS OR PEOPLE THAT WOULD JOIN, so i feel so lonely with a weak dream.....
should i start a band?

Yes you should!!! Even if it doesn't really blow up or anything, do it for the love of music, and create pieces that you are proud of! Years from now you will be happy you did, you will have something to show and cherish.
Someone on here said to just pick up an instrument and start messing with it, and I couldn't agree more! That's exactly how everyone starts off. And it's easier now more than ever with the internet and social media to learn quickly. Some of the best and most iconic music ever produced was played and written by people who only knew very basic instrument knowledge, but who had a massive passion for creating :))

i’m in a band right now, if you want to only do it for fun and all learn about your instruments together, it will be fun and a good way to bond with people. if you live by a good city, try to find open mics or a guitar center that has a bulletin board of prime looking for bands.
if you’re trying to actually go the distance with the band it’ll be a lot harder. but focus on learning the basics of one instrument, and go from there. good luck and have fun!! :D

for sure! i guess just focus on getting whatever instrument interests you most and learn a few basic songs that you like to get the basics, and then go from there :)

Lowkey feel the depression tho. Shits cool, but super hard if you don't already play an instrument. I've been learning guitar for a few months now and I can tell u I have 0 hopes of getting a band together.
But hey! That doesn't stop you from dreaming. Maybe you can prove me wrong.
that's okey, don't lose hope though, i know it's hard forming a band and actually start playing small shows, but let's not give up on a dream this quick, let's give it a chance<3
