One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975) Clorkwork Orange (1975) Labyrinth (1986 - it's a bit musical comedy) Dead Poet Society (1989) Life is Beautiful (1999) Forest Gump (1994)
The Cook the Thief his Wife and her Lover (yes that's the full title) is really good and beautfully shot, well worth watching. Penda's Fen and Je Tu Il Elle are some great films as well, albeit slow but that is the point; the former is a queer coming of age critiquing british nationalism from the 70s and latter is a lesbian avant-garde film by THE Chantal Akerman (renowned lesbian feminist director)
Ok, well if you like scary movies I reccomend "The thing" or "The shining" if you feel up for a romcom try "Moonstruck". " Monty Python and the holy grail" is technically a 70's movie but I'll include it since its awsome.

80's movies are a pretty broad category! Do you like romance? Psychological? Sci-fi? Horror?
Big questions(ยดโขฯโขฬฅ`)
