beauty and cruelty of individuality

i will only ever live and exist, physically and in any other way, as myself. nobody else, in history or sometime in the future, will claim my existence as their own. but, in the same way, and for those exact reasons, i will never look through someone else's eyes, or bleed someone else's blood. perspective is gained by acknowledging this distinction, this separation, but is limited nonetheless. mothers and fathers and worms and flies each exist under their own conscience, and will never experience anything but.
