Should I get a promise ring for myself?

I've always liked promise and wedding rings. In 2019 I got a ring that looked pretty much like a real promise ring but I never wore it because it was way too big. Recently, I got a ring reducer and now I can wear it, but my finger is green af. Seriously, my finger is greener than the grass😭🙏

Because of this, I started looking for real promise rings and the prices were kinda... too expensive. (I'm NOT buying a 4000$+ ring for myself). After a long, LONG search, I found one ring that looked almost the same as mine! It is 91$ and it's my size (yippe!).

The thing is, I have a boyfriend, I know he's not gonna give me a ring. And I don't want him to get me an expensive ahh ring when I can buy it by myself. But i don't know, would it be weird to be wearing a promise ring while having a boyfriend? And should I spend that much on a ring? I'm gonna wear it everyday so I guess it's fine.

However, I'd like know your opinion.
