im so fucking tired of scenecore. like i think it's really cool to bring something old back and turn it into something new. but i literally cant find any ACTUAL scene playlists cause theyre all fucking scenecore. when im expecting dot dot curve, i get kesha. SINCE WHEN WAS KESHA ANYTHING CLOSE TO SCENE?????
anyway, it just feels very poser-ish and i dont like to just call people that but its so performative. they just put on a costume and some rebyxx and call it a day and omg rebyxx fucking sucks. i used to force myself to like it so i could fit into the scenecore scene, but its just straight ass.
but like what do these scenecore kids do in their free time? make tiktoks? shop on shein? what makes it a subculture and not a costume? this is a genuine question.
anywasy thats it. ik this is stupid and doesn't really matter, but lmk what you guys think.

i kinda agreee i dont fully understand scenecore, i can respect people who know the style differences and make it clear that theyre into scenecore not scene, but there r too many ppl who just conflate the two and call themselves scene when really theyre into just glitchcore or colorpunk or whatever it really should be called
