Judging you based off your after-school snacks! (or work)

We aaaaaaalll know it, after a hard day of school/work we just want to gobble up something small before dinner. We are tired, we are exhausted and we are hungry. Here are some after school snacks and what I personally think about them! If you have others, feel free to comment and tell me!

1. A cookie/Donut/Croissant (basic bakery snacks)

Yeah, these are the classics. A cookie, donut, croissant, or any other bakery snack is always a solid choice after a long day. There's honestly not much to say about them—they're popular for a reason! BUT if you get one while it's still warm, it becomes a million times better. Seriously, a warm cookie or croissant has to be one of the best things ever. Whether it's warm or cold, though, you really can't go wrong with a good bakery snack.

2. After school/work snack? whats that? I just go home and eat dinner

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat. HOW??? Do you just walk through the front door, ignore the kitchen completely, and patiently wait for dinner like some kind of superhero? I could NEVER. The second I get home I'm already searching every cupboard and fridge shelf like I'm on a treasure hunt. Even if dinner is in 20 minutes, I somehow convince myself I'm starving and absolutely need a little snack. Respect to everyone with that level of self-control because I definitely don't have it LOL.

3. Chip/Crisps

A classic. Whether it's plain, BBQ, sour cream & onion, or some weird flavor you found at the store, chips are always a good choice. They're easy, quick, and you don't have to prepare anything. The only downside is that I always tell myself I'll eat "just a few" and then suddenly half the bag is gone. LOL

4. Fruit

Okay okay, before you click away, hear me out. Fruit is actually pretty good when you're hungry after school or work. Cold grapes, strawberries, watermelon, apples... they hit DIFFERENT when you're tired. Plus, you get to feel healthy while eating them, which is a bonus.

5. Leftovers

You know that random slice of pizza from yesterday? Or that container of pasta sitting in the fridge? Sometimes leftovers are honestly better than snacks. You get a mini-meal before dinner and feel like you've won the lottery when you find something good.

6. Instant Noodles

Now we're getting serious. Some people treat instant noodles as a full meal, but I know plenty of people who make a small bowl as an after-school snack. They're warm, comforting, and make you feel like you've got your life together for about five minutes.

7. Ice Cream

I don't care if it's winter. Ice cream is an acceptable snack at any time of the year. Chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate chip, cookies & cream... if I'm having a bad day, ice cream immediately makes it at least 37% better, 70% on a really hot day!

8. Nothing because you fall asleep

Let's be honest, this happens. You get home exhausted, sit on your bed "for a minute," and then wake up three hours later confused about what year it is. No snack & no dinner.

9. The Random Fridge Expedition

This isn't really a snack. It's when you open the fridge, stare into it for five minutes, close it, open it again thirty seconds later, and somehow expect new food to appear. We've all done it. Don't lie!

10. Energyy!

I know some people count these as drinks and not snacks, but I'm putting them here anyway. Sometimes after school or work you're just SO tired that you need something to wake you up a little. Personally, I drink them all the time.
