art materials ?

!!!! my dad offered to buy me an easel b4 he left, though am not one to use a canvas, so i said he didn' need to,,, an' this morning,, b4 i went to school, my mom bought me watercolor paper for some reason ?? ? 

i'm a little concerned,,,, usually if something nice happens, it's followed up by something bad,,, . but am still thankful ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎
