css/html help / oc talk

i’ve been meaning to learn to code for a long time ( my dad is a computer science guy for an insurance company + has always wanted me to be more techy ) but i’ve always sort of put it off because it was frustrating to me … however i have started to make some headway in learning! i followed a css tutorial to make my personal website (check it out here) but it’s super lackluster rn and i wanna add more stuff to it .

i have 2 main ocs who are my pride and joy so i want to 1) add them + their lore to my website and 2) make more ocs to flesh out their world ( + hopefully maybe someday write some stuff about them :p) … but i’m not super sure how to format that on my website . i think it’s too much info for the front page so it’d def be its own page but idk how to do all that either

i guess what im asking for is either 1) ideas/inspo/tutorials/code snippets for things to add to my front page (i want to add a marquee text thing at the top but <marquee> is busted + other tutorials are a little confusing) or 2) cool ways to organize + display info about my ocs on their dedicated page . any help at all is appreciated deeply :’I

also where there is the gif of mulder on my website there will hopefully eventually be a drawing of my main 2 ocs i am just having terrible art block right now ugh . it is what it is .
