Check out my bass guitar !

Yoooo!

I wanted to share my absolute baby: my black Yamaha TRBX 505 !

Here she is in all her glory with her instrument case, which I’ve decorated a little 8)

I started playing the bass in December 2025, but I’ve been playing the violin for years, so I’m not finding it too difficult to teach myself! 

The last track I learnt on it is "Empty Spaces" by Fuel (sound playing in the background hehe): the bassline is groovy and really great!!

I love my bass guitar, the wooden neck is really smooth and it’s always a joy to play. I'm really grateful to have friends who play music too, so we can jam together sometimes. 

As for the amp, I’m using a Bass Katana: the sound is HEAVY AF. The next step is to order the cable to connect it to my laptop when I can, so I can tweak the bass sound and find the settings used by my favourite bands (like Korn my beloved).

My aim is to be able to play metal, I’m a big fan of Gojira and my dream would be to play their songs with other musicians!!

That's all lmao, I'm just super happy with this instrument because I can finally play my favourite songs and I can accompany lots of musicians. Don't get me wrong, I loved violin (I used to play celtic music), but I think now the bass guitar fits me well.
