I escaped a whole entire police chase

So, in my city, there is a giant mall, of which a part is abandonned since 2009, me and my friend found a way to climb onto there, trough a hole in the boarded up entrance, we would hang out there ever since, it was a big hallway with empty stores, after hanging out there, we found a way to climb onto the roof, which gave you a good view of the city,                                                                                                                                                                                this time we were with a group of five people, and it was really warm, so we wanted to climb up on the roof to enjoy the sun for a bit, however, climbing up there was very risky, because the whole city could see you from below, but we didnt think much of it, because we had climbed up there multiple times before, so we all climbed on the roof, and sat down, i grabbed my bong for a good smoke shesh, my friends were walking on the edge of the roof, completely in sight of the people walking below, as i was preparing the bong, and filling it up with water, my friends called me over, so i ran to the edge, and they pointed to an old man sitting on a bench, nothing special i thought, until i saw a police car pull up to the man, two police officers stepped out and walked over to the man, they started talking with him, i didnt think much of it, until the old man pointed right at us, the two police officers looked at where the old man was pointing, and before we knew it, two police officers were staring right at us, i ran over to my bong, emptied it onto the roof, and put it in my bag as fast as i could. my friend kept shouting about how we were caught, and that we had to run. we al sprinted towards the hole we came trough, but there was a problem, the hole only fitted one person a time, and we were with five, after about a minute everyone was out, i came out last with my friend, and we saw a police car pull up right to the entrance of the abandonned mall. me and my friend sprinted out of there, into an alley that wasnt accesible for cars. in the alley, we stopped to catch our breath, wondering what to do next, but we didnt have much time, because two policemen ran towards us in the alley, we sprinted and sprinted until we reached a hotel in the city, my friend and i waited at the entrance outside, thinking we had escaped the police, but no. after 5 minutes of standing there, a police car pulled up on the parking lot next to the hotel, we peaked around the corner, and then ran into the hotel, luckily for us, the lobby was upstairs, and we were in a sitting area, we hid in the corner, praying that the police would not catch us, after half an hour of nothing, we called our friend who eventually showed up. they told us that everyone had been caught and that there were over three police cars, actively searching for us, i was wondering why they did not have anything better to do than chase some highschool kids for over an hour, that meant that me and my friend were the only ones left who hadnt been caught yet, the other dude told us that we had to leave the city centre as soon as possible, otherwise, we would surely get caught as well, as they were still searching for us, but that brought us to another problem, our bikes were at the skatepark, and we were at the hotel, we were on the complete opposite side of the skatepark. we had to risk getting caught to reach them, carefully we made our way to the skatepark, and luckily we did not get caught, when we arrived at the skatepark, we saw our friendgroup who immedeately ran up to us, they told us that they had seen everything, and that three more police cars had droven past searching for us, me and my friend grabbed our bike, and got the hell out of there, after a week we went back to the abandonned mall, but they boarded everything up, however, me and my friend found a way to get in there again.
