Day twelve of blogginggg ☆/Be cautious online!~

Heyyy! Today I wanna touch on a serious topic, that I've seen grow over the past couple years. Which is unfourtanetly child exploitation repackaged as social media conent.

Now, I'm not talking about people who genuinly wanna keep memories by posting it on their yt and insta, having only Aunt Bertha from across the street and like five other people to stumble apon in 7 years, or genuinly (take a shot everytime I say genuinly) helpful and respectutful, responsible content.

I'm talking about people who exploit their children because they know how to get views, what the viewers want, and how they can monetize off of their children.

Sry for the long intro btw. The other day, I came across several topics I wanted to talk about. I noticed how easy it is for children can be expxloited so easily nowadays. For example, the glitter dumpling trend, which if you happen not to know, are dumpling squishy toys that went viral, with there being rare glitter ones, and are in a blind box format. Influencers would buy and sell out lots and lots of them, getting mad at retail store employees, and fighting over them, and unfourtantly, bringing their children into it. For example, there was a creator, who had her child, and her roomates child in a car. She told them that she would buy them the dumpling blind boxes, but if they got the glitter ones, they had to give them to her. I lowk forgot what hapenned, but from what I remeember, one of them got the glitter one, had to hand it over, and got upset. RIGHTFULLY SO, THEY'RE CHILDREN. And even the other girl who got the glitter one told the other girl that she hopes she doesnt get it, so she doesn't have to hand it over like she does. This is not the children's fault for reacting negativly towards this. SHE'S A CHILD! The mother knows she would get that reactin out of them, and that people would get mad AT THE CHILDREN and then bring in the views, or, the lady knows that it would be ragebait. SHE KNOWS.

Another example of this is about a mother who would post straight-up f3tish content of her daughter.

It would show her daughter farting in random places, ie, gas station, vase, store, you name it. The mother would claim that it would be to go againts the notion that "girls dont fart! It's empowering!". Even if it were, do you really need to film it??? Also, i don't think a girl gotten upset over ppl thinking they don't fart what...Also the mom KNOW WHAT AUDIENCE THIS WOULD GO TO! She would like and respond to really creepy comments. I don't remeber specifically, but they were horrible and disgusting!

If you're interesting though, in content advocating for child safety, Danielle on yt makes amazing content!

IMO at the end of the day, if you post your children, you need to be mindful! Blur their faces! Even if the child says themselves it's ok, CHILDREN CANNOT CONSENT. IDK HOW MANY TIMES I NEED TO SAY THIS.

anyways, what do you guys think, and gimme more topics to talk about, I'd love to hear them!

But anyways, I’ll talk to you qtees later and let's remember to raise our lives up! ↑ ‧₊˚♡

exactly!! i'm not sure if this is related but it is about parents posting children online. so there was some kid and he was doing really embarrassing stuff that the parent clearly should've stopped, but instead she just laughed and made fun of it. frick, he was even flopping on the floor with no shoes in a store and the parent did nothing!! it's ridiculously clear she (the parent) isn't doing anything to disipline her child! the things u described r alot worse tho like posting videos about ur child farting is weird asf... im glad ur spreading awarness about this, it's truly necessary

Thank you!! And yeah it's a huge problem, and I've even commonly seen parents of disabled children post these kinda videos, not for awareness or education, just "Oh look at how bad my kid is being!"
