I’m not sure if I’ll post my haiku consistently here but I do post them on Twitter if anyone wants to check those out. But I thought I’d post some of my favorites I’ve written here just so people can see what I’m about.
The street lights falter
Flickering in the new void
And I flicker back
Leaves rustle with rain
The sound cascades around you
Will you dance with me?
A loving smile
The afterimage of her
Still engulfs my heart
How do I tell you
There’s a piece of my passion
Lying in your hand
A waxing crescent
The moon clings low on the sky
Hanging by a thread
The fire dies out
The ashes, falling slowly
The last flame cries out
We all have a past
we’re running from. It’s how fast
you are that matters
