Hot take: I don't understand/relate to people who say "When I die, don't bring flowers to my funeral because you should've got me flowers while I was still alive. I can't appreciate them while I'm dead."

Like, yeah? Obviously, Sherlock. You'd be dead, lol. I want people to go to my funeral and bring flowers. I want them to talk about me. How annoying I was. How funny I was. How sweet and kind I was. How I was insensitive. How I was too sensitive. How I was patient. How impatient I was.

Go and talk to each other, talk about different stories and the different versions of me y'all saw. Those stories are what keeps me alive in y'alls hearts. Those stories are what will keep me alive in your hearts because y'all are remembering the impact I've made on your lives.
