whenever i smoke a blunt I get very talkative and I think about a lot of interesting shit so I thought it would be cool if I made an account up here to maybe entertain other people with my thoughts like I do to myself lmaaaao

I made this intro AFTER I made the rant and it gets very overthunk by the end of it

genuinely the red button and blue button debate on tiktok might be the stupidest thing I've seen in awhile. if u don't know what it is, basically:

the blue button: if 50% of people press the button then everyone lives

the red button: if the blue button fails, only people who pressed the red button survive

now its not even the options of the question that bother me when it comes to people bringing up it up. its the fact people are going so far as if to say that you are selfish if you choose the red button 

mind you, this is a HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION.

id say it's not inherently bad to prefer to save your own life rather than gamble it when the option to stay alive is right. there.

like, just imagine ur in a dim lit room with two buttons that were ur ONLY source of light right. (were about to lose the plot) red and blue. imagine having noooo idea why you have to choose one of these buttons and ur sitting here looking at ur options. 

ud probably be like 'damn. where am I' prolly also like 'guess I gotta pick a button' y'know like OBVIOUSLY ur gonna be more entranced to pick the option where you get to live rather than the one where you have the chance to die because thats a SCARY FUCKING SITUATION

imagine waking up in a dark ass room with two buttons and having no idea why you have to choose these buttons and who is controlling it yknow

like, HOW will these people die if the 50% button fails? WHO kills them? i have questions dude like how would this question play out in real life

is it more of a mental thing to pick between two sides or is it like a physical thing like "hey. everyone has to pick between these two buttons"

because seriously everytime i imagine something like that happening in the real world I think of that one picture of that (literally) white guy with his hand in motion to land on one of the buttons and my brain is deciding that's in a dark room so yeah
