The Creepypasta fandom isn't fun

Don't get me wrong, I love Creepypasta, but honestly the fandom has become kinda lame in recent years, ESPECIALLY on Tiktok. No one makes oc's anymore, and if you do make an oc people will make fun of you! 

It feels like people are trying so hard to move away from the "UwU silly bean" type of mischaracterization that plagued the fandom for so long that now they've gone fully into the "They're all abusive and evil and no one can have fun" type of mischaracterization. Especially when it comes to x reader fanfiction.
Like yeah, sure, they're all serial killers that's their whole appeal, but GOD DAMN !NO! TICCI TOBY WOULDN'T BE ABUSIVE, he HAAATES his dad, he wouldn't want to be abusive like him at all! 
"Oh, but it isn't realistic!" these are serial killers living with inhuman entities in a mansion lorded over by a tall thin man-thing without a face in the middle of the woods, NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS REALISTIC!!
Oh, and father figure Slenderman has been dead and buried for a good long while which is absolutely heart breaking. "Its unrealistic," buddy. Lets think for a minute.
 
Not to say the 2010s fandom was perfect, it sucked for way worse reasons. It was the 2010s so the fandom was incredibly fatphobic (especially to Masky/Tim Wrights actor in MH) and they were probably kinda racist too. 

I'm just saying that they were freely cringe and they knew how to have fun. And I miss that.
