You should listen to souvlaki by slowdive that album is sooo good i think it's showgaze im not sure tho but trust me your ears will be blessed. I specifically like machine gun that's my fav song from that album.

oh shoegaze is so peak!! you should check out some blackgaze next, its basically black metal and shoegaze combined. deafhaven and sadness are some cool bands
