Guys, guys, guys... I have heard that the final episode of tadc (the amazing digital circus) is absolute dogshit. Before it was leaked my friends and I had already gotten tickets to go see it, but now im wondering if it's worth the 14 euros.
Everything my boyfriend has told me about it sounds very disappointing. It's a shame because I really quite enjoy tadc. Although I wasn't an og, ive been in the fandom for a long time. The fandom is great apart from all the controversial people. So for those reasons mainly im quite sad. Id also like to mention that tadc is well written, which makes it even more of a disappointment to see such a great show end so mediocre.
Atp im just praying the people who've seen it are overreacting, as my friends aren't the type of people to refund. So I guess we'll see.

I've been into TADC since the pilot!! No spoiler but overall I thought the finale was pretty good :3 Obviously I'm a bit upset some of the lore was a underexplored and the pacing of the movie itself felt a bit rushed, but it's very obvious that Goose poured her heart and soul into this project given the themes and allegories of certain characters and how the plot played out. I was really satisfied with Ragatha's and Jax's character development and their growth really made me think. So, so good!
Regarding the online discourse I really don't get it and the hate was a bit unjustified tbh. The movie wasn't a 10/10 or life-changing experience but it didn't suck as so many ppl seem to make it out to be. It's an indie project made by a small team, not a giant studio with millions of dollars in resource so ppl gotta keep their expectation realistically :/ I'm so glad I didn't interact too much with the fandom lol.
Overall not bad! 7/10 and still worth the watch ;3c
A few days back I watched it too. Honestly people were overreacting. Though I didnt like the amount of time spent on Jax proportionately to the other characters, and he also barely had any actual character development, I did enjoy the last parts when he was out the picture. But what else could you expect from a self insert. Another thing I was a bit disappointed by is that there's no explanation to how Caine suddenly came back?? It was a nice ending but they could've given some kind of logical reasoning to that. Overall I enjoyed my time apart from those things and the fact the couple in my friend group were basically smashing right there.
