My topic is Should healthcare be recognized as a fundamental human right, guaranteeing free access to all citizens?
My opinion is with someone with a mom who has health issues i think health care should be free because no one deserves to die to a condition that can be helped with proper medical help it is just cruel and nonhumane in a study that was conducted by the KFF it says “The cost of health care can lead some to put off needed care. About one-third (36%) of adults say that in the past 12 months they have skipped or postponed getting the health care they needed because of the cost. Notably three in four (75%) uninsured adults under age 65 say they went without needed care because of the cost.” 36% of people is insane the conditions they could need help for could get worse over time if they don't seek medical help 75% of adults under the age of 65 not seeking medical care because its so expensive for a simple medical procedure that is crazy to even think about 63 to 70% of deaths could be avoided if the person would have seeked medical care
please tell me how i could improve my debate i was going to remove the first part about my mom but i just left it in

first, try to include aristotelian appeals (ethos, pathos, logos). you added logos (facts and statistics) so you dont need anymore unless to prove other points. you need to work on your pathos more, bringing up personal experiences or worldwide cases is a strategic way to win over a debate through empathy. so if your comfortable with that, add some details to manipulate the audiences feelings.
You shouldn't use an abbreviation for the first time without adding the actual phrase to clear the meaning and to share credability with the audience.
I would suggest searching and debunking the ops points but your debate topic is an easy win for you so i doubt you'll even need it ( ˘▽˘)っ
if your religious you could add something from that perspective.
