cute seals! (facts and cute photos of and about them)

Hello! I was thinking what I want to post a blog about.. and since I love seals, why not?? Seals are really cute, that's a fact, because it is in human biology, some face's and creatures we find cute, like seals, because of their big eyes and chubby body, they look slightly like human babies. And we find them, and other creatures like them adorable because they have baby faces and like, it makes many of us go awww, squish them and take care of them :3333 We are biologically build to take care of weaker and cuter creatures, otherwise we wouldn't have survived!
sometimes, i can wander off the topic to explain deeper, because I get excited. So I write the "extra" parts, explaining deeper about something to understand the text better in bold style!

This blog includes a lot of reading if you want to learn something new, but also a lot of cute pictures!!! :3 remember that I am just a nerd that knows all these facts from random sources, so there can be mistakes in some stuff.. But I google a lot anyway.

generally about seals!

Seals are those chubby creatures that have to clumsily jump across the land, are very very FATTTTT, and have those really really big pupils, yeah maybe someone didn't know, but their eyes aren't fully black! They just have huge pupils, and also a lot of melanin in their eyes.
melanin is a pigment, that takes care of your eye color, the more melanin you have, the more dark eyes you have, the LESS you have melanin in your eye color, the lighter is, but it is also not just about eyes, its also your skin, hair, eyelashes, pretty much everything that needs color. blue eyes have least melanin, among normal eye color, people with albinism have NO MELANIN AT ALL! So they might have purple or red eyes, but that's an illusion actually, they have no eye color at all.
Seals are called sea pups with a reason! Genetically, seals, dogs and even bears are from the same "genetic group" and are very much alike! Even if you look at a harbour seal and at a golden retriever, they have the same headshape! But evolution thought "Hey! what if we dogs leave there, bears make bigger, and seals make fat and make them live in water?" about 20 million years ago, they looked pretty much like otters, but bigger, with paws and on the ground, and haunted by the lakes and water. and so they adapted to the water. But seals and dogs are not just physically alike, their brains and nervous system shares a lot in common! Seals are very curious, like dogs. In the sea they can swim to the divers, bite their costume and touch them because they are curious what the hell are you XD
"true seals" are those chubby balloons with a cute face and no ears, but there are other "Type of seals" Sea lions, but they are a different animal, they have bigger flippers, and they are slimmer, so they move more.. elegantly across the land. 
Seals also have a very full-fat milk, to grow fat so seals will stay warm in the water and not freeze to death!

Baikal seals!!! <3

They are my favourite! Baikal seals live on a baikal lake in Russia if I am not mistaking, Baikal seals as babies look very much alike with harp seals! But insteand of growing into a cute spotty seal, they turn into black and slick seals! You probably heard about Niko seal if you ever were interested in seals, or how is he also called.. the cement seal. But I watched a documentary about them! i really really love them.
They are born white, and small, and while they have nothing to do, besides drinking milk and growing fat, they dig in their house, because they are small and it's really cold there in the winter. As they grow bigger and fatter, they get rid slowly of their white ful, and then look slightly awkward with fur somewhere and black holes, and then they get fully black as they grow up! They also learn how to swim, they can't swim perfectly almost immediately like harbour seals.

Grey and Harbour seals!

I decided to do these two together, because they are basically "Basic" seals and very very cute! Harbour seals live almost.. everywhere I think, worldwide, in USA, in UK, in the Netherlands too where I live! They are the first you usually think iff, they're cute, fat, and they can swim almost after being born! Harbour seals are famous of their "banana pose" and researches say they do it whenever they are happy. Grey seals as I know live in the UK and the Netherlands, They also look like cute puppies, but more like Sighthound, dogs with those long noses! Because grey seals are known for having such a nose too!

Unique pup mermaids and other fun facts!

This is a Ross seal! lives in Antarctica, and is very famous for it's small face and huge eyes! They are really introverted and are the most mysterious type, but they can make very unusual sound like a siren, or a bird singing..

This is a ribbon seals! They look like bees! Beeals. But, what unique is, they aren't born eith this camouflage!!

 Baby Ribbon seals!!

 Hooded seals! You can mistake them for elephant seals, because of that huge "bag" on their nose, but this bag has a function of mating! Well, attracting a mate. They have a bag made of something like skin inside, and they blow it like a gum balloon, the bigger, the more attractive the seal is! And they also make a world reccord of getting independent real quick, they drink full-fat milk just for 4 days!

 Elephant seals! We all know why is it called like that, because of his nose, but also it is the biggest, or one of the biggest seals that exists! and they are very great divers, that can dive up to 1500 meters down, where it's completetly dark and the pressure is higher.

Leopard seals. If you thought that seals can be just goofy and cute fat creatures who eat fish.. You're wrong! These are true, universal predators, the only type of seal that hunts other mammals and birds, like pinguins.. or even other seals! they are also very big, and cruel, just look how intimidating they look! but I think they are also cool

Seals are cool.
