The death of Alfred Pennyworth is not just a tragic loss for the batfam, but also for all the fans alike. As much as I have crititism for Bruce, ALFRED WAS SO FUCKING IMPORTANT TO ME TOO.
And I'm conviced that DC will not be bringing him back anytime soon, and in all honesty, that's fine with me. Bruce really needs to deeply understand his role as a father, not like he didn't before, but Alfred acted as his mentor; his guardian; a figure for him to turn to for advice when dealing with his kids. Alfred also cemented his role of being a mentor to many of the Bats(and birds), so I really dont understand why would they bring another butler in (WHATS HER ROLE REALLY???) They can't just patch DECADES worth of characterazation, it takes time to really love and understand a character...And mmany fans stilll cant graple the fact that Alfred Pennyworth is dead (Maybe truly dead this time)
But if thats how they will go, fine, so be it. It could open the conversation of history repeating itself. Maybe whoever this blondie is will be another ally to Damian this time, not just to Bruce. Or maybe not, who knows. I just trully, IN THE MOST DEEPEST PARTS OF MY HEART, wish and hope that they wont make her into a love interest for the BatFam. I hate when charcters are just made to be love interest, it iritates me really.
