so i have a question

why do people choose to bully other people?

we are taught from almost the first day of school to be nice, kind, inclusive, but almost everyone i know was bullied at some point, even as an adult. why is it that some people still choose to bully others? we know being bullied feels absolutely horrible, and i wouldn't wish that feeling on anybody in the world. yet some people still choose to be mean to other people? just why?

A lot of bullying genuinely just comes from insecurity. Too many people are taught early on to have something to be insecure about. Whether it's their looks or the way they act. It can also be cultural. But, generally from my experience, people who bully are nothing more than just insecure or jealous, sometimes both. Insecurity will make you do crazy things, and interestingly enough, bullying is a very common one.

just because the victim is different from others, or it's just fun;/ Don't cancel me! I've been bullied myself, but it's true, and no amount of upbringing can counter it. There are people who simply follow the crowd and imitate their actions, meaning they'd rather make fun of someone else than lose their reputation. Or they're simply afraid of ending up in their shoes

Teenagers are cruel, and adults are too, they are no different, well, in their behavior, if anything
