I don't understand why people tell kids and teens to "enjoy our youth" and "not complain because it gets harder when you're an adult" like, bitch, I'm fucking suffocating on homework and weird ass math and shitty kids without the fact that the world is basically falling apart and WE CAN'T COMPLAIN?? WTF DO YOU MEAN IT'LL GET HARDER?? Am I that hot that life gets THAT hard for me? Okay no, sorry for that joke, but seriously, ppl saying that typo stuff is so annoying

I don't think any adults have the right to tell the children/teenagers in their life to "not complain" because we've all experienced childhood and know how hard it can be. I don't like the sentiment of telling teenagers who are managing their emotions, hormonal changes, and the drama of being surrounded by 1000+ other kids their age on a day-to-day basis that it gets "worse". I do understand where the adults are coming from to an *extent*, because obviously being an adult isn't easy, but I don't think there's anyone past the age of like, 12, who genuinely believes being an adult is "easier" than being a child. Things will get better for you once you're out of school, but they'll also get worse at the same time. It has nothing to do with age, it's just how life goes. Don't let them get to you because 99% of the time when adults say that they're just jealous of your position

but I don't think you should take such words too literally, they don't know the full context, and people are weird, always competing to see who's worse off in life. Life goes on, and it doesn't end with math or school, so really, have fun, bro
