(This is regarding the TADC leaks. There's no spoilers here, it's just a rant about people lacking basic empathy.)
This whole leak situation just goes to show that basic fandom etiquette is nonexistent nowadays. I've tried to avoid social media as hard as I can, but the algorithm sucks and I still get spoilers during my 3 min scrolls through Twitter, and dude. There isn't a single spoiler warning in sight, I'm not kidding. Not only that, but those people also choose to start their posts/threads with the most climatic and revealing frame they can find and some caption like "OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED!?!??!" Man. Back in the day you had to put at least 3 spoiler warnings in your posts and you had to keep the warnings for at least a month after whatever piece of media you were consuming came out, but this episode isn't even out yet and people don't have even a tad bit of enough decency to put even the slightest tiniest spoiler warning. In general, this fandom has become the living proof that fandom etiquette is totally gone in modern communities, not only because of the spoilers and leaks, also because of the vast amount of controversies and specific incidents that have been present, most of which could've been easily sorted out or approached more sensibly. In general, fandom culture has gone through so many changes and one might say classic fandom etiquette is dead now. I hate this.

Tbh I feel like this whole thing could've been avoided if Glitch and Goose didn't make an insane amount of bad decisions lmao, I knew the second they announced a cinema release that spoilers would be everywhere :,D The TADC fandom is (or was) quite chill compared to other fandoms imo, but Goose created this weird dynamic by being so chronically online so it went from everyone defending her to everyone shitting on her overnight.
I'm personally glad I got spoiled tho so I didn't waste money on cinema tickets. The ending wouldn't have even been that bad if Goose wasn't hyping it up so much like it was the most unpredictable shocking thing ever.
Anyways apologies for the yap, I've been meaning to write my own blog on this whole situation but I can't decide if I should wait for the cinema release or not to talk about it lolol
