I want to become a journalist

I want to become a journlist, I love to write. I just need to work on my writing a lot more, and be able to talk about stuff that interest me, so I can interest my future readers. I am a huge fan of Horror movies, video games(fantasy, horror, action/adventure.) I also love to read dark romance books, and fantasy books, I also love listening to true crime podcasts, I just need to figure out where my writing fits and try to start writing. 

Anyone have tips on how I should start doing this? Any tips would help, I would also post one of my first articles on here to get some wanted criticism.
