I've been looking to get a flip phone forever, but I don't really know what phone to get.
I'd want smth that at least calls and sends texts (duh), but it would be cool if it ran apps like youtube and some social media. I live in Alberta and when i went to my provider to ask if one phone would work they weren't sure, but frequencychecker said it should so WHO DO I BELIEVE???
if anyone knew any flip phone that worked here PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

whats your phone carrier, what region are you in, and what apps do you need?
my carrier is fido. I don't really know the region. the basic apps (call, text, email, MAYBE youtube)are definitely what I want/need, it would be nice to listen to music and use the internet!

If you want something running android then the cat s22 flip is a really good option. I had one up until 2024 when my phone provider dropped support for em' and I honestly miss it quite a bit. (Just a warning though they are a bit chunky compared to most flip phones)

I use a Nokia 2780 and LOVE IT... it has YouTube and Google Maps,calls and texts are great, but it does have a T9 keyboard. Pictures on it turn out really good too and battery life is incredible! I did lots of research before deciding, but I was taking a step away from social media, so take that into account :) good luck on your flip phone journey! Got mine at Best Buy jailbroken <3
