keeping friends in college...

has been to HARD! I'm talking from experience, right after High School. Since everyone is going off and doing their own things, we each focus on our studies and convenient things to do. But nobody makes time for each other! 

I've noticed this especially now that my HS friends are back from their UNI's. Even though they are back and I reach out first about specific hangout days, they sorta just dismiss me :(

"Heyyy I was wondering if now that you are back if you would want to hang out again, this weekend? Let's do something close by at the park..."

"I'm busy this weekend."

"What about next weekend? I was thinking we could invite __,___,___..."

"I'm booked these next weekends"

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BOOKED??? also- WHY AREN'T YOU SUGGESTING ANYTHING?? I seriously am tired of feeling like I am begging for attention. I know I probably shouldn't have kept pushing, but I've missed everyone so much these last two semesters... :,(

It's disappointing to realize this, but I probably am going to stop contacting my HS friends. I can't wait to finish college, become a travel nurse, and leave this joint!!!!!
