wow. amazing snaps. almost feels like infrared photos. "comfort cemetery" is such an interesting idea to me. there's a huge cemetery near me that is very open to the public with lots of statues and gothic chapels. i've only been once, and my late grandparents who i've never met have their ashes in an offshoot section that's separate from the rest so i've never really had a chance to explore it. my grandfather was just buried in a jewish cemetery, and it's odd how different the vibe is. the headstones are flat & small, not much on them apart from flowers and rocks. my grandpa's headstone hasn't been placed there yet, so there's just a pile of dirt with a small sign and some flowers, along with a drawing my niece made. i like to sit with him on the ground and think about stuff. not that different from what we did together when he was alive. thanks for sharing :)
